Hello! My name is Paige Prawucki and working with horses has been a passion of mine for a large part of my life. When I was 7 years old, I started taking weekly riding lessons after a horseback riding field trip with my girl scout troop. Little did I know how much that field trip would change my life. After a few years of lessons, I began to lease/ride several different show horses, which led to joining the show team at Blue Ribbon Farms under Dan McLaughlin. For the next 12 years, I showed in the western pleasure, horsemanship, showmanship, hunter under saddle, equitation, hunter over fences, equitation over fences, barrels and poles. Throughout those 12 years, I achieved numerous top 10 awards at the PA State Horse Show, All American Youth Horse Show, KILE, International Buckskin Association World Show and many other local shows. Those accomplishments are only part of the story though, I also gained a wealth of knowledge I now enjoy sharing with my students.
I started teaching lessons about 12 years ago and quickly realized that was where my passion was. There have been so many students I have come across over the years that share the same fire and love for horses that I do. It is truly the greatest pleasure to keep that fire ignited in them and help them achieve goals they didn’t even know they were capable of. Whether it be English, western, barrels or jumping, I hope I can continue to inspire students to accomplish their dreams on horseback.
As I became an adult, showing and teaching took a back seat for a little and I continued my education at Penn State University, majoring in Animal Science. In addition to the Animal Science major, I also minored in Equine Science where I was privileged enough to expand my knowledge of equine health, nutrition, first aid, medication administration, pin pointing lame-ness, training, etc. In 2019, I graduated number one in my class with my bachelor’s degree and was ready to go back home and use the plethora of knowledge I gained. I immediately went back to teaching lessons every day and created an amazing barn family. Now, I have the opportunity to move on to the next chapter of my life with Triple B Ranch where I will get to create another family of students and parents.
Along the way, I brought some horses of my own that are coming on this journey with me. My 8-year-old sorrel mare, Marlee, has been with me since 2020 and she is truly the queen bee. She is ridden and shown by my lesson students who adore her. My 2-year-old grey mare, Zoey, has been with me for 2 years now and will begin her riding career next summer. They are truly the light of my life!
I’m honored and blessed to start this journey at Triple B Ranch. Whether it’s your desire to leisurely trail ride, start riding, continue your knowledge, learn a new discipline, join the show team or lease a horse, we have a place for everyone here.
